Pre-Install Checklist

To ensure that your installation goes as smoothly as possible, please take note of this pre-install checklist, alerting you of anything you may need to flag with the team or your chosen appliance installer.

Please write down in an email or on paper any notes that would be helpful, and supply this to your installation team.

Question 1: Accessability

Is there anything for our team to be aware of in terms of accessibility, such as flights of stairs, a narrow driveway, animals on the properly, the install location being hard to reach, etc. Please note this for our team.

Question 2: Type of install

Is this install a like for like replacement or new installation?

Question 3: Existing product removal?

As we are doing an install, do you require disconnection & removal of an existing appliance?

Question 4: Cabinetry

Have you checked your cabinetry, to make sure the type and dimensions are correct, for the chosen new appliance?

Question 5: Power Supply

Is the correct amperage for the appliance chosen, as well as in the correct position and compliant with current regulations?

Question 6: Water & Waste Supply

Is the supply adequate for the appliance chosen, in the correct position and compliant with current regulations?

Question 7: Gas Supply Type

This only applies to Gas appliance installation; What is the type of gas, Natural Gas (NG) or LPG?

Question 8: Hob Gas connection

For a hob/cooktop: is there an isolation valve within 1m of the back right hand corner of the worktop cut out?

Question 9: Freestanding Gas cooker connection

For a Freestanding cooker is it connected by a flex and bayonet?
If yes is the wall bayonet connection within the indicated positions? (See Fig. 1)

Question 10: Electric connection type

Is the Electricity connected via a Socket-outlet or an installation coupler (Flex & Plug)?
